I was travelling home by the local train one day when I luckily got to sit in the window seat. This happens only a few times really. So sitting in the window, I saw a girl standing in the middle of the seats, struggling to come near the window just as the rush in the compartment started to increase.
Somehow, she did manage to come near a window and stand in front of me. However, her eyes were looking for someone and yes, of course, there was a boy standing on the platform waving at her.
After the boy noticed the girl, they started doing some hand movements to each other which I couldn’t understand at first but I soon realised that both of them were deaf and mute. I concluded that they were probably conversing through sign language.
As soon as the train began to move, they made some gestures with their fingers which I understood this time. They were saying ‘I love you’ to each other.
As I understood their expression of love, it brought a smile on my face. Their love was pure and innocent.
In conclusion, I realised that day that Love does not need the language of spoken words for expressing. Nowadays, it is so rare to find true love. A deep connection. Those who do find this kind of love and connection, are truly the luckiest people living on planet Earth.
I remembered that I had once read the quote by ‘Charles Martin’ that stated ‘love has its own communication’, a lot of times. However, I realised the true meaning of those words only on that day.
